Springbank Creative Arts Club

The Springbank Creative Arts Club MISSION is “to encourage the development of arts and crafts within the Springbank community.“

The virus pandemic has impacted many financially, mentally, and health wise. It is our hope that everyone is coping and having faith that this, too, will pass. Many thanks go out to those who are working at keeping us all safe.

The club was finally able to meet (practicing all precautions) on July 15th. Thanks to the great folks at Guarantee RV Centre for providing the meeting space. It was a lively meeting full of news and ideas and it was wonderful to see everyone. So nice to welcome a new member: Renee, who is a multi-crafter, musician and wood worker and was new to Springbank last November!

It was decided to postpone the annual Springbank Christmas Market for this year. The decision came after much discussion, and once the health scene has been stabilized, we plan to continue next year, in all fairness to vendors and customers. Please stay tuned for new developments as the summer passes.

Next meeting date is scheduled for August 5th. On the agenda is Show and Tell and an Etsy presentation – from the vendors’ view and the buyers’ view. This should be very interesting and helpful.

There is plenty of room for new members! There are several positions available for any members to fill on the executive for 2020. If you are an organizer or decorator or have some skills that can be utilized, please let us know. Do you have a craft that you would like to share with the group? Send the details and we will see if there is interest.

Although the Annual Fall Sale in November has been cancelled, we will still meet and share ideas, creations and friendship. We are a small but enthusiasticgroup and welcome new members to come out and join us. This is a great opportunity to meet artists, artisans, and other crafters living in Springbank. Bringalong your latest creations (show and tell) to share with the group. For more information about membership email This email address is being protected from spambots.
